The Adult Choir

About the Choir

The Adult Choir sings the main Eucharist each Sunday of the year, and offers Choral Evensong during the regular choir season. 

Singing in this choir requires good music reading skills, and a voice that blends well with others. The choir works toward a pure, vibrant and expressive tone, suitable for the English cathedral music that forms the core of the choir's standard repertoire.

On tours to England, the Adult Choir sang with the choir of Guildford Cathedral as well as a sister parish in Sandhurst. In the summer of 2025, the choir sang a week of services at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland and Carlisle Cathedral in England. The choir enjoys welcoming guest conductors such as Malcolm Archer, who conducted Evensong for All Souls’ Day in 2025.

Organist/Choirmaster Kevin Kerstetter conducts the Adult Choir. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.  

Several of the choir's singers enjoy attending the Royal School of Church Music's Carolina Course each summer.
